The Credit Union has long offered a "Scotty Savers" kids club. This program encouraged our young members to save with the Credit Union and in return they would earn "Scotty bucks" to use to purchase various merchandise.

Our new program will change from the "Scotty Savers", to the "Scholars Dollars" program. The emphasis would shift from the "member saving with the credit union" to the "credit union saving for the member and with the member". The program would reward kids who earn high grades on their report cards. We will offer a reward of $1.50 for every grade earned above 90 percent. This program will require the student member to bring their report cards into the credit union each semester to earn their scholar dollars. These scholar dollars would then be deposited into a separate share suffix that the children would not have access to until they have graduated from high school. In a time where higher education costs are skyrocketing, we are here to help ease the burden by investing in our youth member's education.

Don’t throw out those “Scotty Bucks” you still have, we will offer a buyback of these dollars and make a deposit into the "scholar dollar" suffix. We will offer $1.00 for every $10.00 of Scotty bucks.
